AI Policy

Purpose

This policy governs the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies by D&S Applied Solutions LLC in the development and operation of OperonOps.

Scope

This policy applies to all use of AI tools by the founder and any future employees or contractors of D&S Applied Solutions LLC.

Permitted use

AI tools may be used for:

• ✓Software development assistance — code generation, debugging, and documentation
• ✓Internal drafting of business documents, policies, and communications
• ✓Research and information gathering

Prohibited use

AI tools may not be used to:

• ✗Submit, upload, or share any customer data with AI services
• ✗Process personal data through AI tools or LLM services
• ✗Make automated decisions about customer accounts or data
• ✗Generate customer-facing content without human review

Customer data protection

Customer operational data stored in OperonOps is never submitted to any AI or LLM service. AI tools are used exclusively for internal development and business purposes using non-customer data. Customer data remains exclusively within our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase).

Approved tools

AI tools used in operations are limited to well-established services with published privacy and security policies. Any new AI tools must be evaluated for data privacy and security implications before use.

Review

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in AI technology and applicable regulations.
